The oldest school in the Poway district new construction included new library with attached main offices, classrooms, and a computer lab; a new kindergarten building with three classrooms and a new playground structure with synthetic turf. New foundation pads were built for relocatable buildings that were craned in place. Site work included cast-in-place-ball walls, cast-in-place retaining walls, basketball/volleyball courts, masonry flood wall, new site concrete/asphalt paving, striping and signage, 200 foot structural steel galvanized walkway canopy and landscaping. Modernization included casework, carpet and vinyl flooring, grid ceilings, custom metal specialty ceilings, new windows and exterior skim coat.

“Once construction was under way, EPC was able to motivate subcontractors to perform as a coordinated, cooperative whole. EPC’s supervisory staff got to know key subcontractor personnel, learned their strengths and weaknesses, and used this knowledge to improve productivity and quality”
