PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This Lease/Leaseback project for Poway Unified School District involved three phases. A sample of the accelerated schedule included an $8 million phase completed in 8 weeks. That phase involved an entire modernization the campus science buildings, a photo dark room and a new central kitchen. The two additional phases of work included classroom modernization, a new library, new soccer fields, acid waste systems throughout, as well as installation of neutralization tanks. Completely new and upgraded technology was installed, roofing and HVAC systems, and extensive hazmat remediation. Echo Pacific was awarded the 2007 ABC Excellence in Construction Award on this project.

“In my experience, no other construction contractor organization could have coordinated the efforts of so many varied subcontractors, produced equivalent quality results, achieved such a fast-paced delivery, and coordinated with the customer as well as Echo Pacific.”
